went to colton tourney yesturday and it was pretty damn fun...
aight there was a problem at first because me may sahar johhny and charlton were all suppose to go... but then sahar couldnt :(... we missed u sahar... so yea ... may went ahead and played singles since she didnt have a partner nemore (just like me, i played singles too)... ok so day of i call may round 710 ish... and ask if she wants to carpool... so we decide to meet at troy... i call charlton after... and i seriously think i woke him up...im like dude we got to go... so he says hell meet us at troy asap...
well may and i get there round 8 and we call charlton and ask where he is... turns out he was goin to mcdonalds for breakfast... we like yell at him no... get over here now were gonna be late... so after waiting forever and being completely bored (well not really, we drove around in circles in the troy parking lot... literally we made donuts and everything hahahhahah... i think jeff sung thought we were crazy, he was there...) charlton finally arrives at 8:30...
and now were freakin out cause tourney starts at 9 and it takes 45 minuts to get there... and since coach doesnt knoe that sahar cant go we need to get there fast and tell him... we tried callin ppl to figure out who kne coachs number but no one did... so we decide to call johhny figuring hed be there by now... but he wasnt... he was actually at mcdonals getting breakfast... GAH. so we tell johhny if he gets there b4 us to tell coach... may drove like a crazy fast and me and charlton kept an eye for cops...
in like 30 minutes we finally get there... and were like driving around to see where to park and we see this big building with a bunch of cars in front... so we figured thats where it was... we park go inside and see some dance team performing... were like uhhh nooo... so we ask round and turns out there are two gyms... but the other one is like across the street... since may was tired i drove olga (her car) to the other gym, turns out we had passed it on the way to the first gym...
finally we get inside and we werent late! they had just started calling the games so we were saved... saw steven johnathan there too... been a while since i saw him. so we look around... they have a really nice gym actually... you have like an awesome view of all the games...
since charlton was still hungry... me and may went to get him mcdonalds... they were playing while we left and lost so they went to cons...
after which they called my game... but it was jus to go on the warm up court... freakin warmed up for ever... a bit nervous playing singles but jus decided to ahve fun with it... lookin at the ppl at the tourney, david lim, steven johnathan, jack shu, the brendan taft... i really didnt see myself winning nething... saw wussi andy there too... he got a hella lot better... neways... during middle of first game im like... ehhh might as well go to cons and see my chances there... so jus played like blah ( and no charlton and johhny, i didnt try... seriously i had a 10-3 lead on the guy in the second game and 12-6 in the first... i sux but not that bad... may won her first game but lost next two in the set so she went to cons too on purpose i think since her gropu wasnt much better...
so now our whole team was in cons... yeah!!!! had fun messing around with the ayala team while we all waited for our games... we played like 5 games of mafia and also played kemps...man that was alot of fun... saw vimla and anoma from vp there too... they were talkin to hanae who was at the sgvbc tourney so i got to talk to her for a bit... yeah!!!... (called u last night btw :)... iono if u got my msg... i think i got dis...)
chalrton pointed out the black guy in a doo rage playing doubles... hahhaha that was an odd sight to see... were like yea... dont piss him off or he would probabaly bust a cap in ur ass... although he was pretty good from wut we could tell...
i think may was particulary happy with this tourney because she was checkin out all the guys... hahahhaha... first the colton boys doubles player... but then... she saw "the taft" HAHHAHHAHAHA... apparantely she didnt knoe who brendan taft was and then saw him and was like... wow... hahhahaha... it was pretty damn funny... when we were watchin him play... i believe the quote from her was...
"no hes not flawed... hes perfect"
HAHAHhHAHAHHA... now was she talkin bout his game or him? hmmmm...
johhny and charlton were called again and they won... gj guys! me and may went to get subway for lunch... i think the guy who made our sandwiches liked may or something cause he charged me tax but not her... that bastard...
we get bck and play some more mafia and kemps... hahha johhny is a madman at busting ppl in kemps... they called my game... which was against some really really big black guy, not the same one as b4... introduced myself... turns out he was a soph and he was very very... softspoken... so we played and i won... he wasnt bad... like sharon said if someone jus trained him he could be really good.
may won her game too! so we all advanced... games were getting better... freakin cypress boys doubles team was so freakin good... like it was crazy... they demolished both boys doubles from garden grove... wish i had crazy reflexes like that... saw brendan play again and may jus watched in awe... hahhahhaha... im like hey may i think his arms hurting maybe u should go give him a massage... hahhaha
got more food i think... not quite sure... no wait we didnt... charlton and johhny played again... i think they won... i think... i knoe they got eliminated by the tricky guy from milikin... i played again and won I made quaterfinals!!!! yea not saying much, but to me it was really cool... first tourney in singles and made quarter finals... for cons... but still hahaha... may won too... i think she got in semis for cons... gj!!!
lost against a guy from garden grove... gahhh it was a close game 10-12... maybe not by numbers but it was... esp that last one... o well...
aight too lazy to write my own post so im jus gonna steal mays... and add a couple things onto it...
so charl was SOOO hungry for chinese food..he was goin nuts..but he wanted to stay and watch brendan vs steven..so we stayed..and left to go get chinese at 830..but LO AND BEHOLD..we get there is we walk in and the lady go "we're closed"..and charlton got SOOOOOOO MAD!! he was like muttering "WUT THE F*** it says it closes at 9!!!!...imma call the city council..and....do something"..and he's like "PHIL DO SOMETHING..DOOODE" (everytime its phil do something... wuts even funnier about this whole thing was that he was the reason we were so late getting food cause he wanted to see all these games... hahahhaha we were teasing him about not getting chinese food on the way to there, saying that wed only get him chinese food if he cried for it, since he didnt have ne money. lookin back im kinda glad he didnt cry... this was way mroe funnier... he did try to cry though... it sounded very pathetic)
..haha..and we get to the car and he's like "DAMN OPEN THE F***NG DOOR"..haha yea he was pissed...so he settled for DEL TACO..but i wanted TACO BELL..so we made phil chauffer us..and the drivethru for del taco..angela called and the boys would NOT SHUT UP..i seriouly had so idea wut angela was sayin..and phil wouldn't shut up about the "GANGSTER LOOKING GUY" behind us and thought we were gonna get caught..and was a sicko at looking at the gangster guy and his g/f making out "OOOO they're kissing!!"..(okay we werent goin that crazy... i dont think... and hey charlton started the gangster thing by telling me to lock the doors... i wouldnt even seen the gangster couple makin out in the rearview if it wasnt for him... and charlton, UR NOT SUPPOSE TO TURN UR HEAD AND STARE RIGHT AT THEM)
and charl was mad w/ the lady in front of us cuz she took 10 min ordering her food "WTF is that FATASS DOING!! GOOOD!" ::rolls down window:: "imma yell it to her"...stupid..so yeah on the way back..phil was driving so i got to take a nap and we finally reached troy..man i was DEAAAD
